Renewal offers
Check your renewal offer
A fixed-plan renewal is the most expensive decision most Texas households make without running the numbers. Paste the fact label from the notice. We price a year of it at your usage, then put it next to the cheapest plan actually on the market.
What to upload
Not the letter. The Electricity Facts Label attached to it — often a separate PDF named EFL. That is the document with the 500 / 1,000 / 2,000 kWh prices and the rate table. A photo of the envelope will not parse.
Door-to-door offers and broker plans that were never filed on Power to Choose work the same way, as long as they came with a fact label.
What we will and will not do
We run the same parser we use on every plan filed with the state. If the reading does not reproduce the label’s own published prices, we say so and we do not invent a bill.
The offer never enters our rankings, sitemap, or any public listing. BillTruth prices every plan filed with the PUCT. An upload is a private calculation in this session, then it is gone. We do not store the file or the text.
The comparison plan is whichever filed plan is cheapest at your usage — not whichever one we earn a commission on. How we count.
